LVHMC operates five Summer Markets. Two are on Saturdays (Ashburn and Leesburg), two on Sundays (Cascades and Brambleton) and one on Wednesdays in Leesburg. The LVHMC markets are “producer-only” markets which means that the vendors must be the ones who raise, grow and produce the products they sell. No crafts, other than agriculture-based crafts, are permitted at the LVHMC Farmers Markets, except for the Special Winter Craft Market in conjunction with the Leesburg Winter Market between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Everything sold at our markets was grown, raised or made from scratch by the vendor. They stand behind their products 100%.
By buying your fruits, vegetables, meats and eggs at the Farmers’ Markets you are supporting local agriculture, as all the vendors are local to this area. That means you are also getting the very freshest produce possible as many crops are picked and brought to market within 24 hours.
*Our vendors undergo inspection from time-to-time and if they are found to be re-selling products that they do not produce themselves they will be terminated from our markets.
At each market you can meet the farmers and learn how they grow their crops, where they come from, what is in season, and why they choose to farm. Also get to know local artisans, bakers, food purveyors and our market managers. We believe that a day at the farmers market will get you excited about making healthy food choices by building a sense of connection to the people who grow your food.
The Spring / Summer Market season begins the first week in May and continues through October. The only winter market is the Leesburg market, and the winter season begins the first weekend in November and continues through April. Please click on the specific market above or on the menu bar at the left of this page for market updates, vendors, days, times, hours of operation and directions.
Also, please do your part to eliminate plastic from the farmers market by bringing your own reusable bags.
Lost and Found items for each market can be dropped off or picked up with the market manager – just look for the orange “Market Manager” sign.
